• Your account is identified only by an anonymous user ID generated by Firebase
• We cannot identify you personally from the data we store

We store your language learning preferences:

• Your target language (the language you're learning)
• Account creation and last update timestamps

Learning Progress

We track your progress to help you learn:

• Total words written
• Completed prompts
• Practice counts by skill category (describing, explaining, comparing, etc.)
• Last session date

Writing Sessions

When you complete a writing session, we store:

• The prompt you responded to
• Your written text (first attempt and revision)
• AI-generated feedback including corrections, suggestions, and scores
• Session timestamps

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

• Email addresses or personal contact information
• Device information or identifiers
• Location data
• Usage analytics or tracking data

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Provide personalized AI feedback on your writing
• Track your learning progress across sessions

AI-Powered Feedback

AktivLang uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to provide feedback on your writing. Your written content is sent to OpenAI's API to generate corrections and suggestions. We do not use your writing content to train AI models. Your writing is processed solely to provide you with immediate feedback.

Payments and Subscriptions

Subscription payments are handled entirely by Apple App Store (iOS) and RevenueCat. We do not collect or store any payment information. Any email address or payment details you provide during subscription are collected and managed by Apple and RevenueCat according to their respective privacy policies.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud). We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Anonymous authentication and database storage
• OpenAI: AI-powered writing feedback
• RevenueCat: Subscription management (may collect email for receipts)
• Apple App Store: Payment processing
